Bali and Singapore

On our trip to Bali, you will experience perhaps the most beautiful of Indonesia’s many islands and also the vibrant city of Singapore. High volcanoes, dense jungle, mysterious temples, beautiful beaches and a wonderful, friendly people meet you here. On our Baliresa you live comfortably in three different places to get a sense of the island’s varied character. The excursions give an insight into everyday life and you get to enjoy the beautiful nature, the rice terraces and the countryside. In Bali, people are fascinated by the special colorful type of Hinduism. Usually a festival or celebration occurs during your stay. Then people meet with their offerings, huge flower arrangements and colorful costumes on the streets.

Day 1: Travel to Singapore
Flights to Singapore. Meals are included on board the long-haul flight.

Day 2: Singapore
Arrival in Singapore where we will be met by our local representative. We check in and then gather for a welcome dinner. Overnight in Singapore. (Noon)

Day 3: Singapore
We head into the center of a city tour where we get an overview of this multicultural city. We see Padang, the large, open space in the center with several historical landmarks. In Chinatown, there is a throng of shops in historic surroundings. A visit to the botanical garden offers, among other things, 60,000 different orchid plants. Singapore is a cultural melting pot. Many different nationalities live side by side here. We stroll around Little India among restaurants, temples and shops. In Kampung Gelam there are memories of the Malaysian kingdom and at Peranakan Place lived Singapore’s Chinese upper class. Overnight in Singapore. (Lunch)

Day 4: Singapore – Bali
We head to the airport and then arrive after about three hours flight to the beautiful, green island of Bali. Then it only takes about half an hour from the airport to your hotel in Sanur on the southeast coast of Bali. There is a promenade and many restaurants, bars and shops. You can walk along the long beach and just enjoy relaxing days. We gather for a joint Balinese welcome dinner. Overnight in Sanur. (Noon)

Day 5: Sanur
After breakfast we continue our Baliresa with an excursion beyond the beaches. You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning and we travel to the countryside to experience Bali’s beautiful scenery, colorful markets and mysterious temples. We have lunch at a local village restaurant overlooking the rice fields. From Munduk we will also get beautiful views of the lakes. Overnight in Sanur. (Lunch)

Day 6 – 7: Sanur The
day on your own for your own walks, sun and swimming. Overnight in Sanur.

Day 8: Sanur – Ubud
Today we head north to experience more of Bali’s colorful culture and nature. We start the day with a stop in Batubulan where we get to see a performance in traditional dance. The villages of Celuk, Mas and Ubud are Bali’s centers of gold and silversmithing, woodcarving and art. We continue through rural villages and beautiful green rice terraces before arriving at the island’s art and culture mecca, Ubud. Overnight in Ubud.

Day 9: Ubud
The day for your own walks. Ubud is the cultural center of the island. In the middle of the jungle and rice fields lies this small, slightly cooler mountain town. Here you will find handicrafts, dance performances, yes much of the original Balinese culture. In the markets you can find antiques, art, beautiful masks and traditional crafts. There are plenty of great excursion destinations in and around Ubud. Hike among the rice fields and the countryside or rent a bike to get even further out among the villages. Here there are opportunities for rafting, elephant riding and more adventurous hikes in the jungle or mountains. Overnight in Ubud.

Day 10: Ubud – Tanjung Benoa
After a morning of own walks and maybe some shopping, the journey continues with a private transfer south to Tanjung Benoa in southern Bali. Here we check in at our hotel and end our Bali stay with a few more lazy days on the beach. Overnight in Tanjung Benoa.

Day 11 – 12: Tanjung Benoa The
day on your own for your own walks, sunbathing and swimming. Day 12 we gather for a joint farewell dinner. Overnight in Tanjung Benoa. (1 dinner)

Day 13: Return trip from Bali
We end our Balire trip by saying goodbye to the friendly people and the balmy winds. Transfer to the airport for return. Meals are included on board the long-haul flight.

Day 14: Return
Arrival at the boarding place.
